New Staff
We've added two new members to the FIT FOR PLAY Team. April Koskinen, MPT and Matt Kirkwood, degreed fitness professional. April is now one of our 7 licensed physical therapists on staff. She has already begun seeing patients using our one-on-one therapy approach. Matt joins our fitness center staff as a personal trainer and assistant manager. Renee is a native of Happy Valley, and was raised near Milesburg and attended Bald Eagle Area High School. In 1998, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University. Since that time, she has continued her post-graduate education through a variety of orthopedic courses. In 2003, she attended a long term course in manual therapy with a focus on spine and extremity mobilization.
Renee has years of clinical success with a pediatric population and also holds a specialized certification in lymphedema management from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Renee has a passion for helping people through physical therapy and finds that the unique one-on-one environment at FIT FOT PLAY allows her to effectively utilize her clinical skills and maximize her patients’ therapy experience.
