What is Physical Therapy?
Physical therapy is a dynamic profession with an established theoretical and scientific base and widespread clinical applications in the restoration, maintenance, and promotion of optimal physical function. Physical therapists receive specialized education in a variety of sciences including but not limited to physics, human anatomy and kinesiology.
This includes:
- * Diagnosis and management of dysfunction and enhancement of physical function and functional abilities
- * Restoration, maintenance and promotion of not optimal physics but optimal wellness and fitness as well as optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health
