April Koskinen is a new convert to Penn State football while remaining true to her Minnesota Twins and Vikings, but don’t hold that against her. Born and raised in small town Minnesota she received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Her occupational background includes a certification from the Ola Grimsby Institute in Manual Therapy; a specialization in joint and soft tissue mobilization and advanced therapeutic exercise progression. Her Physical Therapy experiences have included outpatient, hospital and aquatic treatment in such wildly varied places as Monterey, CA and Las Vegas, NV as well as the greater Chicago area. Her previous experience has led her to believe that FIT FOR PLAY’s atmosphere, which caters to personalized hands on treatment, is vital for optimal results covering many ages and conditions.
Outside of work April enjoys doing beaucoup de rien. When she cannot do that she occupies her time with reading, listening to NPR, biking and traveling to see family and friends.
