New Staff
We've added two new members to the FIT FOR PLAY Team. April Koskinen, MPT and Matt Kirkwood, degreed fitness professional. April is now one of our 7 licensed physical therapists on staff. She has already begun seeing patients using our one-on-one therapy approach. Matt joins our fitness center staff as a personal trainer and assistant manager. Nicki Mellott is our Physical Therapy Office Manager. A native of Bedford County, she moved to Centre County in 1994 and has been in patient services over 14 years in both physical therapy and physician settings. Nicki will schedule your appointments, explain insurance benefits, and answer any questions you may have regarding the “business” side of physical therapy. She is patient-oriented and enjoys getting to know our patients and seeing the difference therapy makes in their lives.
Nicki enjoys her very active son’s sporting events, is a “Marching Mom” with her daughters’ twirling group and is on a variety of committees with the Benner Elementary PTA. When not at a game or a parade, she enjoys reading, especially books on history and true ghost stories. Nicki and her family reside in Bellefonte.
