Our therapists are excited
to integrate Pilates into your physical therapy program
Hint: It's Because It Works!
Evidence, Education, Excitement
Three members of our team recently attended a 2 day course about using Pilates techniques during physical therapy treatments. Geared specifically toward medical providers, the course is based on the most up to date evidence in spinal stability, pelvic stability, strength, conditioning and pain. It included intense classroom sessions as well as hands on workshops with detailed demonstrations of each technique.
It Can Work For Everyone
The best part is, the team learned how to effectively utilize both basic and advanced Pilates techniques that can be used for almost any patient.

I've already been implementing some of the basic skills I learned at this course to improve core stability and I've already seen improvements in their condition! I plan to continue using what i've learned with each and every one of my patients that walk through the door!
Jonna Monsell, MS, PTA, ATC
This course was excellent. I especially liked the hands on workshops because I feel like we all walked away 100% ready to implement the Pilates techniques immediately. I've already started using them and look forward to the results!
Ryenne Burns, PTA
The class was a lot of fun. We learned a lot of new useful techniques and how to make them work for people with injuries and pain. The exercises don't look hard, until you try them. With proper technique, they become a lot more challenging. I think the things we learned will be very helpful in treating our patients here at Fit for Play.
