Success Stories:
"With the FIT FOR PLAY one-on-one therapy approach, I was able to gain a better understanding of how to deal with my back pain on a daily basis. At NO time did my PT say do this exercise and I'll be back in 10 minutes, like most places do. It was a great experience to receive such professional care."

Physical Fitness and Wellness Evaluation/Screening
Focused on your improving your health and wellness from day one.
FIT FOR PLAY requires ALL fitness participants to undergo an initial Physical Fitness & Wellness Evaluation/Screening prior to starting a fitness program. This evaluation/screening will be performed by one of our licensed physical therapists.
Why do we require the evaluation/screening?
This process provides our medical professionals with important baseline information about each individual client. This information is then used to set up a fitness/wellness program that can safely progress the individual toward their ultimate health goals.
What information is being collected and what methods are being utilized?
Physical assessments to determine:
* Flexibility
* Range of Motion
* Strength
* Balance
* Joint Integrity
Measurements taken:
* Resting and active heart rates
* Resting and active blood pressure
* Waist circumference
* Body Fat% (please read note below)
* Body Mass Index (please read note below)
* Height
* Weight
Note: Body Fat % and Body Mass Index will be assessed using a hand-held electronic device. In order to receive the most accurate reading, avoid taking measurement: after drinking a large amount of water | after eating a meal (1-2 hours) | after drinking caffeine and/or alcohol | immediately after vigorous exercise | immediately after a bath or sauna
